Reconditioning and Recycling
To achieve a consistently high print quality, powder cannot be reused indefinitely. However, residual powder, supporting structures and misprints have a considerable material value - depending on the metal.
The Heraeus Group has many years of expertise in the processing of precious metals. We organize a complete and documented powder cycle for you, which makes cost-intensive disposal unnecessary.
Leasing models
When purchasing metal powders for 3D printing, customers often have to order more powder than they actually need for their part due to fixed delivery quantities. This means a high financial investment, especially with expensive materials.
Heraeus Additive Manufacturing therefore offers leasing models for particularly price-intensive metal powders in additive manufacturing. The customer only pays for the quantity of powder he actually uses and sends the remaining powder back to us.
