About us
The business area Precious Metals focuses on megatrends such as the energy transition, the circular economy, and security of supply. We cover the entire value chain for precious metals—from sourcing and refining to trading, manufacturing innovative products, and recycling scrap materials. Heraeus processes all eight precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium, osmium) as well as rhenium. With our products—including wires, coatings, and catalysts—we support key industries such as automotive, chemicals, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and hydrogen.
